Addison Gilbert Primary Care is an affiliate of Beverly Hospital located on the 4th floor of Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.  Caring about every aspect of our patients' lives is central to our primary care philosophy.  Dr. Candace L. Thompson has joined Addison Gilbert Primary Care.  Dr. Thompson has practiced on Cape Ann for the past 10 years.  During that time she has become known for providing her patients with high quality, personalized health care.  By joining Addison Gilbert Primary Care, she is able to provide her patients convenient access to the many diagnostic, specialty and rehabilitation services within the hospital.  If you would like to continue as her patient or elect to be a new patient, please call the office at 978.283.7580 to register.

OFFICE HOURS Monday 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. at Beverly Hospital at Danvers. Patients of this practice may make a Saturday appointment to be seen by the provider on call at Beverly Hospital at Danvers. To be scheduled for a Saturday appointment, please call this practice at 978.283.7580.

We can accommodate same-day sick appointments, and see all new patients within one week of their initial call. Lab and x-ray services and specialists at Addison Gilbert Hospital are readily available. Our electronic medical records ensure timeliness, security and accessibility of crucial patient data, as well as direct transfer of prescriptions from physician to pharmacist for greater accuracy. The office is handicapped accessible.

We accept most major insurance plans.
However, we do not accept Tufts Medicare Preferred and Neighborhood Health Plan.
