evening. the proceeds of which will benefit the programs
and services of Beverly Hospital and its affiliates.
Tasting begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person.

Family & Friend - Baby /Child Saver

Baby/Child Saver class is a two-evening, six-hour program that
will enable parents, expectant parents and care-givers to recognize
and cope with emergency situations involving babies and small
children. Accident prevention and techniques are
reviewed. American Heart Association standards are used for
CPR and obstructed airway skills, teaching and hands-on
practice.

This an exercise program for those aged over 60 with fear
of falling and balance difficulty. The benefits of this
new dynamic group exercise program will aid in fall risk reduction,
increased balance, confidence in mobility and ability to be
independently active participants in the local community. All
participants will be required to undergo a free 30-minute
individual pre- and post-screening for balance and fall risk.
The fee is $3. per class which is due at the beginning of the
class which are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from
11 a.m. to 12 Noon. Space is limited. Space
availability is determined on a first-come, first-served

The American Lung Association's "Freedom From Smoking Program"
is an eight-session group smoking cessation program. Participants
will learn a positive approach to becoming a non-smoker. Classes
incorporate several different smoking cessation techniques
including relapse prevention, weight control, stress management,
behavior modification, nicotine replacement therapy and group
support.
The cost: $125.00 ($100 for employees of Northeast Health
