Lahey
Health 5K Cancer Walk & Run
Registration
is open. Lahey Health 5K Cancer Walk & Run celebrates
its eighth year in Burlington and its fourth year in Peabody on
June 1, 2013. With your help, we will mark this important occasion
by reaching an impressive milestone for this event--$250,000 raised
in one year in support of cancer services at Lahey Health. Enjoy
breakfast, entertainment, and after-walk brunch, children's
activities and educational displays, and hear moving stories from
Lahey Health cancer survivors. For more information, contact

Family & Friend - Baby /Child Saver Class

Baby/Child Saver class is a two-evening, six-hour program that
will enable parents, expectant parents and care-givers to recognize
and cope with emergency situations involving babies and small
children. Accident prevention and techniques are
reviewed. American Heart Association standards are used for
CPR and obstructed airway skills, teaching and hands-on
practice.

This an exercise program for those aged over 60 with fear
of falling and balance difficulty. The benefits of this
new dynamic group exercise program will aid in fall risk reduction,
increased balance, confidence in mobility and ability to be
independently active participants in the local community. All
participants will be required to undergo a free 30-minute
individual pre- and post-screening for balance and fall risk.
The fee is $3. per class which is due at the beginning of the
class which are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from
11 a.m. to 12 Noon. Space is limited. Space
availability is determined on a first-come, first-served
