Proceeds from this year's tournament will benefit therapeutic
patient programming at Addison Gilbert Hospital's Senior Adult Unit
(SAU) which serves seniors who have experienced an acute phase of
disability or sudden change in mental status. The SAU cares for
seniors with a holistic, patient centered care model and includes
specialized medical, psychiatric and rehabilitative components.

Over the years, this tournament has raised more than $200,000 for
the physician services and programs of Beverly Hospital. This
year, funds will be directed towards the final phase of the OR
Expansion. The new Perioperative Acute Care Unit (PACU) is
necessary to accommodate the expected increase in number of
patients preparing for and recovering from surgery. The new PACU
will allow Beverly Hospital to realize a 33% increase in surgical
capacity and improve the patient experience by reducing anxiety,
increasing privacy, and enhancing recovery.
