Our orthopedic center offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary
approach for individuals with acute and chronic back and neck
conditions. The goal of our spine surgery program is to return
individuals to normal function without back or neck pain. Our spine
specialists provide individuals with the most advanced techniques
of non-operative treatment, as well as surgical treatment of
disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
Advanced spinal surgical procedures include:
- Anterior cervical discectomy
- Bone graft spine fusion
- Lumbar microdiscectomy and limited decompressions
- Cervical decompressions
- Posterial lumbar decompression/laminectomy
- Spine fusion (anterior and posterior)
State-of-the-art, non-surgical procedures feature:
- Kyphoplasty - a minimally invasive procedure using bone cement
to treat vertebral compression fractures related to
osteoporosis.
Our team of spine specialists includes board-certified physical
medicine and rehabilitation specialists, and physical and
occupational therapists.
For individuals requiring chronic pain care, our team
collaborates with pain management specialists at our Pain
Management and Spine Center, a multidisciplinary outpatient service
that treats back, neck and musculoskeletal pain. For conditions of
the spine, consultation is provides as well as diagnosis and
treatment for patients with acute or established conditions, with a
focus on physical and rehabilitation medicine. Physiatrists and
physical therapists help minimize or eliminate pain, restore
maximum function, and develop a personal spine management plan for
long-term success.
