Cancer Care at Beverly Hospital
Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals offers nationally sponsored clinical trials to patients from cooperative groups such as SWOG and National Cancer Institute (NCI)
Located on the campus of Beverly Hospital, our modern Hematology/Oncology Center provides a single location for you to:
- Meet with your care team
- Receive treatment
- Have laboratory testing
We’ve designed our center to provide convenience, privacy and immediate access to other resources you may need, such as the pharmacy or emergency care.
We also have a dedicated inpatient oncology unit. This unit provides the highest levels of patient safety and quality. Our chemotherapy-certified registered nurses (RNs) provide your chemotherapy and supportive therapies in a comfortable setting.

Our cancer program at Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a comprehensive cancer care center. This means that we offer the latest in state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for those diagnosed with most serious types of cancer.

Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals offers National Cancer Institute (NCI) sponsored clinical trials to patients.
Participation in clinical trials is entirely voluntary. Clinical trials are also not viewed as a final treatment option. To see if you might be a good fit for a clinical trial, speak with your doctor.

Comfortable Setting
We designed our center to meet your physical, emotional and social needs during cancer treatment and other cancer-related care. The center offers a comfortable, private setting with plenty of room for visitors to offer you support during treatment.
The décor reflects the serene beauty of the Cape Ann community. It features an ocean-inspired color scheme, with scalloped and waved edges throughout. We offer views of the Annisquam River to bring a sense of nature, comfort and community to our cancer care space.
