Beverly Hospital's pediatric team is made up of a dedicated group of physicians, nurses and support staff with the single focus of caring for your child.

The physicians from Boston Children's Hospital who make up the team at Beverly Hospital have trained and worked at some of the top educational and medical institutions in the nation. They now bring their expertise and experience to the families of the North Shore.

This team of physicians and caregivers works closely with families and local primary care physicians and specialists to deliver the best care available.

Our nurses have a wealth of experience in caring for children, and all inpatient nurses have been certified in pediatric advanced life support.

Theresa Becker, DO Medical Director, Pediatric Programs

As Medical Director, Dr. Becker is responsible for medical oversight, development and coordination of Lahey Beverly's pediatric programs which include pediatric emergency and inpatient care. Dr. Becker attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her doctor of osteopathy degree (DO). She completed her residency at Tripler Army Medical Center and did her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Becker is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. She is also an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

Rajitha Devadoss, MD

Dr. Devadoss earned her undergraduate degree at Wilkes University and earned her medical degree at Upstate Medical University at the State University of New York. She completed her pediatric residency at the Yale-New  Haven Hospital. Dr. Devadoss is an Assistant in Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital and Department of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

Debra Hillier, MD
Pediatrics

Dr Hillier earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed her residency at Children's National Medical Center in  Washington, D.C. Dr. Hillier is board-certified in pediatrics.

Eman Ansari, MD, M.P.H.
Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Dr. Ansari earned her medical degree from King Abdul-Aziz University College of Medicine in Saudi Arabia and completed her residency in pediatrics at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Ansari completed her fellowship in pediatric pulmonology and pediatric critical care medicine at Boston Children's Hospital.

Carrie Danziger, MD
Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Dr. Danziger earned her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University She completed an internship and her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  She completed her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City.  Dr. Danziger is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine.

Karen Gruskin, MD
Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Dr. Gruskin is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and the Medical Director of Hospital Partnerships at Boston Children's Hospital.

Dr. Gruskin earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She did an internship at Texas Children's Hospital as well as completing her residency and fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children's Hospital.

Ivana Culic, MD
Director, Neonatal Programs

Dr. Culic is the medical director of the Special Care Nursery at Beverly Hospital and a staff neonatologist at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Culic earned her medical degree at the University of Zagreb, Croatia; followed by a fellowship in molecular biology at Boston University School of Medicine. She completed an internship at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA and did her pediatric residency at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Culic completed a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Culic holds the academic appointment of Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine. She is board-certified in pediatrics and
neonatal-perinatal medicine.

 

DENO Ceara

Ceara Deno, MD
Newborn Medicine

Dr. Deno earned her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester. She completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics  Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA . Dr. Deno completed a fellowship in Newborn Medicine at the Floating Hospital/Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. She is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine and is a clinical instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

Liza Konnikova, MD
Newborn Medicine

Dr. Konnikova received her MD/PhD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed her pediatric residency in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children's Hospital. She completed a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Harvard University. Dr. Konnikova has a clinical interest in translational medicine with a particular focus on the connection between intestinal microbiome and onset of neonatal disease.

Dr. Lee received her medical degree from the University of Vermont and completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center-Floating Hospital for Children. She also received her masters degree in clinical research at the Tufts University Sackler School for Graduate Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in neonatology at the Floating Hospital/Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Lee is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine.
