The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Center at Beverly Hospital
at Danvers is the first on the North Shore to offer a 3.0 Tesla MRI
unit, which is the latest and most advanced clinical medical
imaging technology available today. MRI technology uses
computers and magnetic fields, rather than radiation, to capture
images of the human body. With magnet strength of 3.0 Tesla,
our system is the most powerful MRI scanner available for clinical
use. It gives radiologists optimal diagnostic capabilities
when assessing anatomy, pathology, physiology and
function.
