What You Need To Know Now . . .
MERGE PACS WILL GO LIVE SUNDAY,
NOVEMBER 13, 2011 at 7 A.M.
ATTENTION: The new MERGE PACS will go
live 7 a.m. Sunday, November 13. If you completed a
system user access form, you should have received an email
notification with your login information.
Please be advised that launching PACS from Meditech to view
exams performed prior to Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 7 a.m., is no
longer available. It may take up to 3 weeks to update
Meditech with the new image locations for these exams.
Training is available by clicking on the Training link for
audiovisual training powerpoint presentations and videos. Or
if you require refresher training or need password assistance,
please call the PACS Command Center at (978) 922-3000, extension
7227. Hard copy training manuals are also available upon
request. For training needs and questions, please call or

Merge PACS Application Download Information
You or your office IT personnel will need to download the new
MERGE PACS application on your computers. This should be done prior
to Merge PACS going live. The instructions also include
directions on how to delete the Sectra PACS (old system) from your
office computers and how to access the web portal for viewing.
** NOTE: Be sure to wait until after Merge PACS goes live
to delete the old PACS system application. ** Hospital IT
personnel will perform these functions on NHC computers. Click
