The Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists help people across the lifespan
participate in the things they want and need to do through the
therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). We will
conduct an individualized evaluation, during which you and your
occupational therapist determine your goals. Your therapist will
customize interventions to improve your ability to perform daily
activities and reach your goals.
Since your hands are so important in all areas of activities of
daily living, leisure and work, many of our Occupational Therapists
are also Certified Hand Therapists (CHT). CHT's have at least 5
years of clinical experience, 4000 hours or more of hand specialty
experience and have passed a comprehensive examination in
hand/upper extremity rehabilitation. This certification must be
renewed every 5 years ensuring that you will receive the best
possible care for your individual situation.
We offer specialty Occupational Therapy services
