The Lifestyle Management Institute offers the American Lung Association's Freedom From Smoking Program for the residents of the North Shore. This is an 8-session/7-week group program conducted by a registered nurse.

 

Participants will learn a positive approach to becoming a non-smoker. The classes incorporate several different smoking cessation techniques including group support, behavior modification, nicotine replacement therapy, stress management, weight control and exercise, and relapse prevention.
