The Pain Management Center specialists can assist your referring doctor with the management of your pain. Common pain conditions treated in the Center include, but are not limited to:
- Back, neck and musculoskeletal pain
- Failed back syndrome - residual pain that persists despite multiple spine surgeries or other interventions
- Sciatica - pain along the sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in the body, usually caused by a herniated disk of the lumbar region of the spine and radiating to the buttocks and to the back of the thigh
- Spinal nerve pain
- Headache and facial pain
- Neuropathy - any disease or malfunction of the nerves
- Acute herpes zoster/shingles
- Postherpetic neuralgia - localized pain in the area of involvement of shingles that persists beyond one month
- Pelvic and urogenital pain
- Post-traumatic pain
- Post-amputation pain
- Vascular insufficiency
- Cervical or lumbar disc herniation
- Fibromyalgia - chronic pain and stiffness in muscles and fibrous tissue especially of the back, shoulders, neck, hips, and knees
