The Pain Management Center specialists can assist your referring doctor with the management of your pain.  Common pain conditions treated in the Center include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Back, neck and musculoskeletal pain


  • Failed back syndrome - residual pain that persists despite multiple spine surgeries or other interventions


  • Sciatica - pain along the sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in the body, usually caused by a herniated disk of the lumbar region of the spine and radiating to the buttocks and to the back of the thigh


  • Spinal nerve pain


  • Headache and facial pain


  • Neuropathy - any disease or malfunction of the nerves


  • Acute herpes zoster/shingles


  • Postherpetic neuralgia - localized pain in the area of involvement of shingles that persists beyond one month


  • Pelvic and urogenital pain


  • Post-traumatic pain


  • Post-amputation pain


  • Vascular insufficiency


  • Cancer pain


  • Cervical or lumbar disc herniation


  • Fibromyalgia - chronic pain and stiffness in muscles and fibrous tissue especially of the back, shoulders, neck, hips, and knees
