Volunteer Services is always seeking weekday, evening and weekend volunteers for the Beverly Hospital Sunflower Shoppe and the Addison Gilbert Hospital Hidden Treasures Shoppe.  The shops provide a wide variety of wonderful merchandise to the hospital community. If you enjoy interacting with the people, are customer-focused and can handle cash and charge transactions, the gift shop is a great volunteer opportunity for you! Links to our applications and reference form can be found on the right side of this page.

*The Cuddler Program provides the human touch between a trained volunteer and babies in our Special Care Nursery. Currently, we have a complete group of trained volunteer cuddlers and a lengthy waiting list.

High School Senior Internships

If you are a high school senior interested in applying for an internship during the Spring of 2020, please download both the internship application and internship agreement from the links located on the right side of this page.  Our program is highly competitive and we encourage all students to have an alternative plan in the event they are not placed into the program.  Applications are due by Friday, February 14th at 4pm, and students will be informed of placement decisions no later than March 20th.

Are you already 15 and at least a sophomore in high school?

Are you thinking about a career in healthcare?

Do you want to make a difference?

We would love to have you apply for our Summer 2020 student volunteer program!

Are you able to:

  • Make a commitment to volunteer 2 shifts each week? (Shifts are 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm, and available on weekdays only.)
  • Attend both mandatory orientation sessions on June 9 & 11 from 3:00-5:30pm at Beverly Hospital?
  • Commit to volunteering no less than 8 of the 10 weeks between June 22 – August 28?
  • Be willing to volunteer in whatever area of the hospital we need you most?

If your answer was "Yes!" to all of the above requirements, please download an application and the reference form from the right side of this page. You must submit two personal references (one of which must be from your guidance counselor) with your application in order for it to be complete.

**The student volunteer program is quite popular and often fills up very quickly so please submit an application as soon as possible! Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into our program.
