State-of-the-art treatment planning
Defining the most appropriate course of action
If you are newly diagnosed with breast cancer you can participate in our distinctive program that brings breast specialists together, in a single session, to recommend the best plan of care. Through our Multidisciplinary Physician Case Conference, you will meet with a surgeon, medical oncologist and radiation oncologist on the same day. After their individual evaluations with you, the specialists will meet as a group with our radiologist and pathologist to review test results, share their opinions based on their specific areas of expertise, and develop the most appropriate course of action. At the end of the session, you will be presented with a cohesive, step-by-step treatment plan.
Our education and support group, run by our nurse practitioner, certified breast patient navigator, for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients is an eight session group geared to educating and supporting our patients to feel empowered and knowledgeable while undergoing surgery and or treatment.
All of our breast cancer treatments are coordinated through the Breast Health Center, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, reconstructive surgery, and individual, group and family counseling.
