Vascular

Vascular surgeons in the vascular surgery department assess and manage a wide variety of vascular disorders, including problems in the circulation to the brain (carotid artery surgery), kidneys (renal artery surgery), abdominal aorta (aneurysm and obstructive arterial disease, including use of endovascular aortic stent grafts), intestines (mesenteric and celiac arteries), and problems in the circulation of the legs, including those associated with the complications of diabetes mellitus. Vascular surgeons also care for patients who have varicose veins and leg ulcers.

Our experienced vascular surgeons, working collaboratively with specialists in cardiology and interventional radiology, utilize state-of-the-art technology including diagnostic ultrasound, CT and conventional angiography, and MR angiography to diagnose vascular abnormalities. Many vascular procedures are performed using minimally invasive techniques.
