Overview
At Beverly and Addison Gilbert hospitals, board-certified
gastroenterologists are available to provide consultation and
comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for individuals with:
diseases of the esophagus, bowel, liver and pancreas;
gastrointestinal infections; biliary tract disease; nutritional
disorders; and other disorders of the digestive system. Their
commitment to bringing the latest advances in gastroenterology to
residents of the North Shore has resulted in the ability to
diagnose and treat the entire spectrum of gastrointestinal
disorders.
Utilizing Beverly Hospital's state-of-the-art Endoscopy Suite at
Beverly Hospital and the endoscopy procedure room at Addison
Gilbert Hospital, our physicians to perform a wide variety of
minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat the entire
spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders. Among the services they
provide are colonoscopy, gastroscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP
(endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), manometry, pH
studies, capsule endoscopy and the HALO procedure for treatment of
Barrett's Esophagus.
The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), a
leading gastrointestinal medical society, has recognized Beverly
Hospital as part of its program specifically dedicated to promoting
quality in endoscopy. Beverly Hospital's Endoscopy Suite is one of
215 endoscopy units, and the only facility on the North Shore, to
be granted the recognition.
