Joint Learning
Joint Learning is an instructional course for patients planning to undergo hip or knee replacement surgery and their families. Taught by staff nurses and physical or occupational therapists, the course helps patients understand the pre- and post-operative procedures, recovery and rehabilitation process including:
- What you will need to do to prepare for surgery
- The procedures for pre-admission testing
- What happens on the day of surgery
- Your rehabilitation process
- Your discharge options and our continuum of services for your post-hospital care
Class Schedule
Classes are held at Beverly Hospital in room 1002 of the Women's Health Building on Wednesdays from 12:00 -1:00pm. No registration is required.
