Northeast HomeCare is Beverly Hospital's Medicare-certified home
health agency dedicated to providing outstanding quality,
physician-directed home health services to patients on the North
Shore.
Home health services can play a critical role in your recovery
from an illness or injury. Many times, home health
services ease the transition home after being discharged from the
hospital or a short-term rehabilitation stay.
You have a right to choose the agency that provides your home
health care services. Why choose to receive quality, compassionate
care from Northeast Home Care …
- Northeast HomeCare is part of Lahey Health Senior Care,
affiliated with Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital…
providing greater continuity of care and improved outcomes through
regular communication with your doctor
- Northeast HomeCare is also dedicated exclusively to serving the
health care needs of seniors on the North Shore
Most of the time, your doctor, a social worker, or a hospital
discharge planner will help arrange for Medicare-covered home
health care services. If you are a patient in the hospital, a
clinical liaison from Northeast HomeCare is typically available in
Beverly and Addison Gilbert hospitals and can answer any questions
you may have about home health care services and your particular
needs.

Insurance Coverage
Health insurance will pay for "certified" home health services.
Services that fall into this category must be "medically necessary"
and ordered by a physician. These "certified services" are short
term. Once a patient returns to a certain level of functioning
these services are terminated. Often this time period is sufficient
to help the patient return to their "normal" level of independence,
or to bring the patient to a point where they are able to access
services on an outpatient basis.
