Inpatient Substance Use Disorder Services

We offer:

  • Aftercare planning
  • Case management
  • Counseling and therapy
  • Medically supervised detoxification services
Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Services

We offer:

  • Adolescent Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP): This structured outpatient program is available to teens after school.
  • Buprenorphine (Suboxone) Outpatient Treatment: This approved medication treats people dependent on prescription or illegal opioids.
  • Court Programs: These programs help people mandated to seek treatment for driving under the influence (DUI) first and second offenses. Court programs are also available for some teens charged with nonviolent, drug-related crimes.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Adults: This outpatient option treats people who want to aggressively address their drug or alcohol use while maintaining their daily commitments.
  • Methadone Maintenance Treatment: This highly regulated program treats people with opioid use disorders.
  • Therapeutic Services: We offer traditional and intensive outpatient therapy for individuals, families and teens.
Residential Substance Use Disorder Services

We offer:

  • Adolescent Residential Program: This structured, live-in program is designed for adolescent boys.
  • CAB Transitions: This stabilization and transitional program focuses on homeless men with a history of substance use disorder.
  • HART (Healing and Recovering Together) House: This substance use disorder program in Tewksbury, MA, caters to women and their children.
  • Ryan House: We coordinate care with two halfway house programs: one for men and one for women.
  • Transitional Support Services House: This residential program supports people who have gone through detoxification and are transitioning to long-term residential care.
Moms Do Care Program for Pregnant Women

The Compass Moms Do Care program provides treatment for pregnant and parenting women with a history of substance use, including women interested in starting a recovery program as well as those already in recovery.

Our services are planned around you and your needs, and include the following:

  • Medication assisted treatment (buprenorphine/suboxone, methadone, and vivitrol)
  • Prenatal and postnatal care
  • Specialized labor and delivery and maternity care
  • Group and one-on-one counseling
  • Education and support for caring for substance exposed newborns
  • Peer-to-peer support to help you stay in recovery
  • Advocacy during the Department of Children and Families response
  • Connections to community services, family support programs, housing programs, and more
  • Referral for psychiatric care and treatment
  • Continued care for up to three years after your baby is born

Our staff include Peer Recovery Moms - women with lived experience of motherhood and recovery - and social workers, nurses, midwives, and physicians specially trained to support women with a history of substance use.
